Why This Role Exists
8x Social hit 1.2M ARR in 5 months. We're raising our round, scaling the team, and building systems that didn't exist before. The CEO is currently splitting time across fundraising, sales, hiring, and product - and needs someone who can carry context across all of it.
This isn't a support role where you take notes and schedule meetings. You'll be in the room for every important conversation - VC pitches, client calls, hiring decisions, strategy debates. Your job is to absorb context, think critically, and make things happen.
The best way to learn how to build a company is to sit next to someone who is building one. That's what this role gives you.
II.
What You'll Actually Do
- Fundraising support. Review the deck, collect VC feedback, help refine positioning. You'll have full context on how we think about the raise - not just the slides.
- Sales and pipeline. Follow up with high-priority leads, prep for client calls, track deal progress. You'll learn how B2B sales actually works at a startup.
- Hiring. Source candidates, run intro calls, coordinate assignments. You'll help build the team from the ground up.
- Operations. Whatever needs doing. Campaign coordination, internal tooling, process design. The scope changes weekly because the company changes weekly.
- Thought partner. Review documents, challenge assumptions, provide a second perspective. The CEO wants someone who pushes back, not someone who nods.

Who This Is For
You're at a top business school - HEC, LBS, Bocconi, ESADE, or similar - and you're already questioning whether the standard path (consulting, IB, big tech) is actually what you want. You've probably had conversations with friends about starting something. Maybe you already tried.
- Future founder mentality. You're not here for the resume line. You're here because working inside a fast-growing startup is the best education you can get right now.
- High context, fast learner. You can sit in a VC pitch in the morning, prep a sales deck at lunch, and screen a candidate in the afternoon - without dropping any of it.
- Chip on your shoulder. You want to prove something. The salary and the logo aren't what drive you - the opportunity to build something meaningful is.
- Comfortable with chaos. There is no job description that stays the same for two weeks. You thrive when things are ambiguous and move fast.
- Sharp communicator. You can write a clear email, give direct feedback, and pitch an idea without a 20-slide deck.
We'd rather hire someone with less experience who wants to learn than someone with more experience who wants to be told what to do.
IV.
What You'll Get
- Full context. You'll know what the company is doing, why, and what's at stake. No information silos.
- Direct access to the CEO. Daily collaboration. You'll see every decision, every tradeoff, every mistake - and learn from all of it.
- Paid internship with conversion. $1,200-$2,000/month base for a 25-hour weekly commitment, plus performance-based bonus. 2-month trial, then full-time with stock options if it works.
- Speed of learning. You'll learn more in 2 months here than in a year at a big company. That's not marketing - it's what happens when you're exposed to everything at once.
- Network. VCs, founders, operators, engineers. You'll meet people who are building things, not just talking about it.
