How Canvas UGC works

Canvas UGC means you start a brand new account from scratch and dedicate it to one brand, rather than posting brand work on your personal profile.

For you: you learn how to take an account from zero to viral, a skill you keep for the rest of your creator career. You get paid per video without touching your personal brand or feed. You get to experiment across industries and work out which niches and content styles actually suit you.

For the brand: clean data from a baseline account, so they learn exactly what content their audience responds to, and a higher volume of videos at a lower price.

What you'll own

• Client communication. Speak to the brand directly to understand their briefs and guidelines, and translate that into a content direction the campaign can run on.
• Scripts, briefs and formats. Create the videos yourself from a fresh account. Write the scripts, briefs and formats, using our tools and methodology plus your own skill, and push them out to your creators.
• Creator leadership. Lead a roster of 10 to 15 creators. Build real community with the group, make sure they post regularly on your scripts and formats, spot underperformers and remove them, and put the strong ones forward to become account managers themselves.

Sourcing (compensated separately)

Occasionally we're short on creators and account managers help find them. This sits outside the core role, so you're paid separately for every creator you bring on.

Payout structure

• Campaign base fee. $200-500 per month depending on your geography. Guaranteed, paid monthly.
• Your creator earnings. $15-20 per approved video, TikTok plus Instagram repost. 30 videos is $450-600.
• View bonuses. +$30 at 50k views, +$70 at 100k, +$100 at 500k, +$200 at 1M. Per video, on views achieved.
• Client retention bonus. 2% of contract value, usually $200-700 per month, paid only if we retain the client that month.

The guaranteed portion, base fee plus per-video earnings, runs roughly $850-900 a month at 30 videos. View bonuses and the retention bonus are performance based and typically take a solid month past $1,000, for close to 30-40 hours of work a month on one campaign.
